  1. The perfumer for Coven is listed on the Roullier White webiste as Richard Ibanez. Nice selection!

    1. George, thanks very much indeed for that. I know Ibanez was officially credited as the creator of Maack's Coal, but I haven't been able to get confirmation that he also made Coven. Let me do some more digging… 😉

  2. D,

thanks for keeping your list to-the-point and making it enjoyable to read!

Although I personally disqualified Iris Nazarena and Amber Oud for reasons of strict chronology (I tested them before the onset of 2014, though this might not be 100% accurate for all markets) I concur that they're solidly constructed and interesting to merit the mention.

Haven't yet tried Cuir d'Ange personally nor Chaldee: the bottle from the 1980s re-issue was a total pleasure; alongside Vacances, my favorite in the Ma Collection line-up. It's good to see Patou paying attention to the brand again under Fontaine; if only everyone would (was allowed to) do that as well.

    1. Perfumeshrine, thanks for stopping by. Yes, I know what you mean by chronology, but just to keep things as simple as possible, I decided that all (recent-ish?) perfumes which were new to *me* in 2014 were eligible for inclusion.

I look forward to your thoughts on Cuir D'Ange 🙂

  3. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Lovely blog you have here, I LOVE perfumes! I have a little perfume blog of my own if you want to check it out! 🙂
Best wishes for the New Year!
