    1. Thanks for the comment, Richard. I don't have a massive problem with Angel: it's distinctive, beautifully made and extremely important. But by no means is it my favourite Mugler.

  1. It doesn't sound as sophisticated as one might expect for the blinged-up pricetag. I think L Turin mentioned in his review of Kenzo Amour that it's the push-pull between 'eat me' and 'don't eat me' that makes that particular scent so good. I think if something simply smells like it should be in a dessert bowl rather than a bottle, it has failed! My favourite gourmands are probably Chanel Coromandel, Guerlain Gourmand Coquin, and Bois Farine and Traversee du Bosphore from L'Artisan. Really enjoyed the review, thank you!
