Any list labelled ‘Readers’ Choice’ is always worth a peruse, in the same way that the cinema box office Top 10 is usually instructive on some level. Readers of Elle UK were recently asked to vote for their favourite perfumes of 2012, and the results of the poll have now been used to construct the following shortlist for the FiFi Readers’ Choice Award For Women:
I suspect Elle’s readers were asked to choose one or more scents from a pre-existing set of suggestions, so the poll probably wasn’t 100% open. But even so, it’s interesting – and encouraging! – to see that the Liz Earle has made it to yet another shortlist. The absence of La Petite Robe Noire is equally intriguing. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on 16th March.
