A few mini-news items from a recent dash through the London branch of Selfridges.

The Chanel ‘perfume boutique’ – a must-see if you haven’t yet been – now stocks the smaller, eminently more sensible, 75 ml bottles of Les Exclusifs. Apparently they’re priced at £100 each. (Is ‘exclusive’ still exclusive when you package it in a more affordable format?)

Dior’s highly-anticipated equivalent of the boutique is scheduled to open on the 4th of April. It’ll showcase the brand’s La Collection, which includes Leather Oud and Mitzah.
Finally, Guerlain’s Idylle Duet is now on general release. I’ll post a review soon, but for now I will just say that it gets a thumbs up from me.
Oh, and the update from the bathroom at Maison Persolaise is that jasmine-coloured grout looks great!
Have a good weekend, folks.

  1. Angela, yes, I'm sure it'll be worth seeing. In relation to Chanel, Dior may be playing 'catch up', but their receng mainstream releases have been much more highly regarded than Chanel's, so perhaps their new 'perfume boutique' will be another step in their resurgence.
